Lincoln lost by smallest margin to the Appleby horse and this lost to Lincoln on first run and made all2nd run. I think the Charlie horse is more of a miler to middle distance runner and I was shocked when he beat Lincoln as too me Lincoln won and we never saw head on either but anyways. Charlie's horse required the rail to get going and well this guy kept on rolling from front expect a win here from moore

This is a fascinating renewal of the Vintage Stakes, with two winners from the July Meeting at Newmarket in the field. Both have sound claims. However, I was very impressed with the style of Dr Rascal's win at Ascot. One of his opponents there had a bite at his jockey, causing the horse to get loose. He was then very difficult to load into the stalls. That generally costs a horse his chance. However, he displayed a very professional attitude, winning with something in hand. As long as that experience hasn't left a mark, I could see him stepping up in grade to take this.

Pikachu is the only maiden in the field but he is not without a chance having been a close 3rd to Al Hudaiba in a Group 2 last time on level weights and now getting 3 pounds. He also has the benefit of the inside draw for a rail position round the bend into the straight.

Two career runs for the 2yo colt. He was a winner on his debut during May. He was then 4th of 25 at Royal Ascot in a Listed contest and the front two have both run good races since. Up in Grade for this contest but more improvement is very possible. His five rivals all ran 17 days ago. Coming off a six week break for the selection could be a positive.
