Wichahpi is a 4yo filly trained by Bryan Smart and has been amongst the winners of late. She is 4/17 wins on turf and has posted a career-high RPR of 78. Runs off 61 today with Andrew Breslin's 3lb claim. Her last win came over CD last August off a 2lb higher mark under today's jockey in a better race than this as it was a class 5. Trip of no concern and will relish the soft ground having won on it at Catterick and Thirsk. Bryan Smart's results at Carlisle since 2022 if his charge resided in the top three in the betting in handicaps reads - 3-1-2-2-1-3-3. Any money would be notable as Bryan Smart's tend to attract support if they are fit and ready.

Preference here goes to the Tim Easterby runner, Dream Deal. You have to find plenty of forgiveness for this 6-year-old gelding that doesn't leap off the page with a strike rate of 1-24. He did run well on his seasonal opener behind Sacred Falls at Catterick, finishing 2nd that day. Not so good when last seen after leaving himself too much work to do after dwelling at the start. Holds form in the book to suggest on his day, he could be a serious contender off another revised mark. He's now operating 6lb below his career best and 2lb below his last winning mark.

Belsito has not won since a C6 off a 62 when here in June last year. He was a close second twice off that mark in October and November but has had wind surgery and three decent runs since the break. He has dropped back to a 63, which I think makes him worth an EW 4P.

Mister Sky Blue is in stall 7 for Gemma Tutty with Connor Beasley taking the ride. He has run 9 times with 1 win and 1 place, giving an 11% win rate and 22% place rate. Scored at Hamilton two starts ago over this trip off 57 and was not disgraced when fourth off 60 last time at Beverley, finished just over four lengths behind. Cheekpieces go on for the first time and the ground poses no issue. His current mark of 59 is fair and stall 7 is fine tactically for a prominent sit. Should go well again if progressing in the headgear and is a win shout in a race with fair pace.

Her sole career win came at this track on soft ground. It's interesting to see her finally back here again. A lot of her best form has come on a stiff track, and now with a mark much reduced, even compared to the start of the season, she has to be an interesting runner.

Agnes Grey looks a massive price here as she has winning form over course and distance in the past. She also has had the benefit of a run already this season. The yard is in great form, and a much better run is expected from this mare today.

Mattice is beginning to tumble down the weights and should be able to walk into a race very soon. Acts decently on the softer ground. E/W chance.

Blue Seeker is a model of consistency, rarely running a bad race and frequently hitting the board in this class. Her recent third, coupled with a good draw (stall 9) and the booking of Paul Mulrennan, makes her a very strong candidate for a top-two finish.
