Seeking a hat-trick after back-to-back victories at Leicester and Wetherby in June. Although not the easiest to trust, he remains well treated despite a 4 lb rise and has every chance of completing the three-timer.

This course and distance winner finished second here in a class five race in May. A couple of lesser efforts since, but this return to Beverley in a class six, from a good mark should see him being more competitive today. Hasn't won for two years but still retains an each-way chance.

Poor form the last couple of runs but he might be worth another chance now running form a lower rating. This distance does suit and he does have plenty of good form on today's ground conditions.

Dr Rio is an outsider in this race, but he has a very good record here: six previous wins and a credible third here back in May. The slight increase in trip may also help him because, at 10 years old, he is better suited for stamina than speed.

Won at Newcastle in March and ran its best race so far on turf when third here last time. Looks a decent each-way bet today.

While her overall profile shows zero wins from eighteen lifetime starts, she ran a clear career-best two starts ago over one mile at Beverley, keeping on powerfully to finish a close second at 14/1 off a basement mark of 46. She completely failed to handle the surface switch to Newcastle's All-Weather track next time out, but she is a blatant track specialist who requires grass and an uphill finish to perform. Stripping away that synthetic blowout, her return to Beverley and a slight step up in distance gives her a prime opportunity to strike.
