Subiaco may have a fitness advantage over a few of these opponents because this horse has already run this year, quite a few are returning from a rest. This horse showed consistent form his last two runs which was on the AW surface, he'll be running well if he transfers that form over to the Turf today.

Pat McGettigan takes off seven pounds on Bay Of Supremacy. Strong 2yo form once moved into handicaps, winning over course and distance on soft ground, then running third behind The Love Machine next time (gave away a lot of weight). Jockey's allowance will come in handy. Clearly a very useful type. Market may prove significant on seasonal debut.

Unexposed 3-y-o making handicap debut, and we could see a much-improved run now. Has had three starts so far, showing promise; although well beaten, has been held up in races without much chance. Could now show a much more prominent run with blinkers applied. Colin Keane booked to ride is also noted.

Chirac is another that has not been great yet, but does seem at a friendly opening mark for this handicap debut. It's having Oisin Murphy in the saddle that catches my eye, so I would expect more today. EW 4P

Has won once and placed twice from six starts to date. Returns from a short break and holds an each-way chance if finding best form.

Ran well on a couple of occasions last season including when beaten just 3L over CD . Stand out piece of form was a 2nd over 6f at Cork when beaten by a horse now rated 88 and was pretty much the only one to get involved from off the pace. Has been below par the last twice but looked like he failed to stay 7f on AW debut & seasonal reappearance LTO. Went without his usual headgear that day but that's straight back on, down in trip and back on turf are all positives. A mark of 60 looks fair and the yard are 1-1 with 3yr olds on turf so far this season. Worth a chance

The 3-year-old filly has appeared somewhat restricted in her three career races at Dundalk this winter over extended trips. As she prepares for her first turf race, there is potential for improvement. Yet her earlier form makes it challenging to gauge the likely outcome here. Still, with the jockey's 7 lb claim, the 28/1 odds should be taken into account for an each-way bet.

Love Bomb is a bit of a long shot. She won on handicap debut off a 65 back in September but did not get on with the AW for the next two runs. I think the return to turf, and having Megan Telford-Kelly in the saddle claiming 7 lbs, could see her involved again.
