Cool Azul has been runner-up in two turf maidens, beating some good horses on each try. She has been knocking on the door but not quite got her head in front. A switch of surface could be the trigger she needs.

Had a very good run in its first race of the year, managing a 2nd place. The next race wasn't as good, but not a disaster, finishing 4th. 20/1 is worth an each-way bet, hoping for a place.

Focaccia went very close to breaking their maiden tag last time out at Dundalk when just beaten by less than a length over this minimum trip just over a week ago. The trainer thought enough of them to put them into listed class on only their second start. Now handicapping could go well to fill one of the four places on offer. A high draw is said to be favourable, so coming out of stall 10 could be a positive. Place chances at decent each-way odds.
