Ran a solid race last time out, so should be fit for that run. Form has been franked by one that beat it in a previous race today. Should go close. Enjoys a big field.

Mickey The Steel is fit. At this time of year that's an important consideration. He is upped in trip from recent efforts but based on said fitness he should be ok

Royal Impact returned to the track just five days ago in Naas, achieving a solid second place out of ten runners. That race served to stretch their legs and reach peak physical condition for today’s competition.

Taking a chance on Merisia Diamond to go close here. Course and distance winner. Won here as a favourite in 2023 and 2024. Had a decent run last time out at Naas on soft ground to place 7th in 12 runners. Expecting improvement today. Trainer Thomas Coyle is 4 from 34 with 4-year-old runners over this distance but had many placed. Jockey W. Lee is on the board today. He has done well riding 4-year-old+ runners at Curragh. Has a 12% SR but did win on big odds. So I think Merisia Diamond has a good each-way chance in this one.

Red Charlie is having his first run for Andrew Slattery after leaving Emmet Mullins. He has not run since 2024 but is being backed today and is well weighted in a poor race.

Genuine Jim can go well for the Burns yard. Genuine Jim has won over track and trip before. He ran here two weeks ago and will do better with that race to work on.

Mark Fahey's 6 yeah old Mare FERRARI DESERT looks very interesting here returning back to the turf. This Daughter of ACCLAMATION returned from a 300+ day sabbatical in January when obviously showed some ring rust which is too be expected but If this girl shows up in any capacity like she did when last seen here (finished 3rd of 27 3¼ lengths) then I don't think she could be written off entirely to be in the mix. Yard are currently in form. 14/1

Rampage shaped well on return. Dropping to 7f with a 7 lb claim could help him improve enough to land his first turf win in three years.

Finished a good fifth of 26 over course and distance on heavy ground here two weeks ago. A repeat of that run, having been dropped 1 lb, should see this veteran involved at the finish.

Not Simple won a large-field handicap at Cork over distance on soft going. He'll appreciate a return to grass and a return to seven furlongs. Lightly raced but plenty in his favor if ready to run.

Mogwli has won 8 of his 93 starts and looks interesting here off his falling mark. His last win was at Bellewstown in October off 56, but he has won off as high a mark as 71. He was well beaten on seasonal debut two weeks ago, but that can be forgotten as he was caught out wide. Better drawn here and, off 1 lb lower, he has a useful claimer who won on him at Bellewstown, taking off a further 7 lbs. Looks like a good each-way bet with 6 places on offer.

Zabriskie Point is a 5yo gelding trained by Ado McGuiness and ridden by 7lb apprentice Gabriella Hill runs off a mark of 57 and is turned out quickly having run at Naas just 6 days ago beaten a respectable 8l having been slowly away - stepped up to 7f today and could take advantage of current mark being a 7f winner on soft ground in the UK on soft ground off 93 and didn't shape to badly just 6 starts back beaten 3.75l off a mark of 78 at Roscommon off 78 over 7.5f - outside chance.

This 7-year-old is well known as a course expert at the Curragh, having claimed his most significant career wins here. While his recent form has been inconsistent, he returns to a favourable 7f trip and has had blinkers put back on. This setup has historically triggered his top winning form. The attractive 25/1 each-way odds offer a potentially lucrative opportunity.

She may still be a maiden after 10 races and out of the handicap today, but her best races have been in big fields on heavy ground over 7f, as shown when placing at Galway and Gowran Park in 2024. Even out of the handicap, she is still 7 lbs lower than for the place at Galway. Recently she has been racing over much further and on fast ground, neither of which suit, and she could run well at a price.

Green Icon is a 4yo gelding trained by Denis Gerard Hogan doesn't come here in the best of form and finished 12/12 on seasonal reappearance over 6f at the track last time out after a 123 day absence - he runs today off a career low handicap of 68 and 61 with Alan Casey's 7lb claim - he's an ex Owen Burrows horse who won twice over todays 7f as a juvenile winning a maiden at Chelmsford on his second start then a nursery off a mark of 74 - his best effort in Ireland was a 3/21 over a mile last July beaten 2.5l posting a RPR of 72 showing he still retains some ability and proves to be a fly in the ointment today off 61 over 7f here at the Curragh.
