2:45 Curragh Tips

There's a couple I like in this race but this horse edges it for me as a value each-way bet. He's back down to his last winning mark and won this race last year. You have to forgive his last run at Leopardstown but that was on ground that didnt suit. He should go better today.

Booyea won this two years ago from a mark of 88 before well down the field last year from 3lbs higher. His best run since was 2nd at Leopardstown in first time cheekpieces from a mark of 90 but he ran pretty well on his reappearance when 5th meaning that although he's inconsistent there are signs that the ability remains. The stable have reached for first time blinkers and he's dropped to a mark of 84 so I'm happy to chance him in this field on his return to C&D.
