Winning combinations are simply formed when 3 or 4 matching symbols appear from left to right, in any position, and starting from the leftmost reel. With a sailor theme, the Soaked by Seamen slot is the follow-on from Seaman (released in August 2025). Humorous and cheeky, this time you are back on board and ‘wetter than ever’. With lots of sexual innuendos, it definitely fits into the ‘controversial’ category.

Based on hunky sailors that are stranded on a deserted island, the idyllic setting is tainted by the naughty activities suggested by Nolimit City. The soundtrack is a little cheesy and sounds like the music you’ll hear at the start of a porno (not that I’d know). You’ll also hear sailors commentating with phrases such as ‘I love seaman’ and ‘let me see you work it’ to bring down the tone.

On the reels, you have low-value A, K, Q, J and 10 royals. The higher value symbols include palm trees, (which resemble something rude), frogs, Tiki masks, a lady character with her tongue out (agaim, suggestive) and a snake. The snake is the highest-paying symbol, awarding 0.4 x your total bet for 4 in combination.

Soaked by Seamen comes with plenty of special symbols: there are Banana Wilds, xWays, a Lucky Lighter, Coconut and Blowfish Bombs and Bonus Scatters. More on these below.

Soaked by Seamen comes win respins, fire frames and position multipliers. With several special symbols that increase the number of ways to win, add Fire Frames and Banana Wilds as well as Bombs that award respins, there are 2 free spins modes where position multipliers persist.

Win Respins & Fire Frames

When a winning combination lands, the Win Respins feature triggers and the winning symbols are removed. With their multipliers increasing by 1, new symbols respin into those positions. Multipliers only apply to symbols in winning positions.

On every respin, 1 extra Fire Frame is added. With Fire Frames randomly added to the reels on each spin, every Fire Frame position has its multiplier increased by 1. Winning symbols with Fire Frames will see their position multipliers increased by 2.

Special Symbol features

There are 4 different special symbols, which lead to their own feature:

• xWays: found in countless Nolimit City slots, such as Serial, xWays symbols transform into a random paying symbol, revealing 2-4 symbols of the same kind. Increasing the number of ways to win, multiple xWays symbols land will see them all reveal the same paying symbol.
• Lucky Lighter: revealing a paying symbol, each reel position with that symbol receives a Fire Frame, increasing its multiplier by 1. 
• Banana: the Banana symbol can randomly land with a number of 1, 2 or 3. After the indicated number of respins, the Banana expand to cover all position on its reel with Banana Wilds.
• Bombs: if no winning symbols appear, Bombs explode and remove symbols based on their type. Empty positions then respin, with new symbols landing. Additionally, symbols removed by a Bomb has its position multiplier by 1 or 2, if there’s a Fire Frame on it. With 2 types of Bombs, Coconut Bombs removes itself and increases the position multiplier between 5-100, in addition to the standard increase. A Blowfish Bomb removes itself and all adjacent paying symbols. It won’t explode if a Coconut is present on the reels though.

Rigged Spins

The Rigged Spins feature is triggered when you land 3 Bonus Scatters during a base game spin. With 5 free spins awarded, it works like the base but position multipliers are persistent. Landing a Bonus Scatter will give you 1 extra free spin.

4 Bonus Scatters will trigger the Super Rigged Spins feature, with 8 free spins. With position multipliers kept, more Fire Frames are awarded on each free spin. Finally, 1 extra free spins is awarded for each Bonus Scatter landing.

Extra Spin

At the end of the feature or a spin, you might get the chance to buy an extra spin. Keeping position multipliers and Fire Frames from the previous spin, which dictates the cost. It will only be offered if the cost of the extra spin is less than or equal to the total win and there is a ways win present.

Nolimit Booster

The Nolimit Booster feature has a total of 6 options:

Soaked by Seaman follows on from the first game with more extras, saucier content and higher man win potential up to 30,000 x bet.

Following on from the original Seaman game, the Soaked by Seaman slot is cheekier and more tongue-in-cheek than its predecessor. The setting is different as the seamen are now stranded on a desert island where all sorts of mischief occurs.

In terms of the gameplay, this instalment comes with Win Respins and Fire Frames, likes its predecessor. Nolimit City has kept position multipliers, which are used in True Grit Redemption 2 and Golden Shower.

With xWays increasing the number of ways to win, Bombs are still used but NLC has added Lucky Lighter and Banana features: they add Fire Frames (and multiplier increases) and Banana Wilds on up to 3 positions.  The 2 free spins features work the same as the base game but with position multipliers kept throughout.

With 30,000 x bet max wins, Soaked by Seamen offers significantly higher max win potential than its predecessor (20,000 x bet). The addition of Side Hustle features will appeal to few though as they are little add-ons that see you bet on specific outcomes (not for me personally).

Whilst Soaked by Seamen has more extras and higher win potential than the first game, there isn’t a lot of difference between the 2 games. What is certain is that its saucier and more controversial which is sure to grab the headlines. To that end, it's better than the first outing but doesn't do enough to make it onto my list of the top slot sequels.
