Like Tombstone RIP, the visuals are pretty bleak which are depicted by the black and white tones. The setting is on the edge of town where you’ll see a gallow: this is a wooden frame from where outlaws are executed by hanging.

Serious and dark, you’ll notice the brilliant rock-style soundtrack. Honestly, it’s superb. If you click/press on the reels, you can fire shots at the symbols. Choose a gunslinger symbol and you’ll see that varmint killed instantly. You will have 6 shots on every spin.

Appear on the 3 middle reels only, a stacked wild symbol always nudges up or down to become fully visible. Known as the xNudge Wilds feature, each nudge increases the win multiplier by 1.

In the base game, multiple xNudge Wilds add to each other for a total win multiplier. In the bonus features, several xNudge Wilds will multiply each other for a total win multiplier.

xSplit Wilds

The xSplit Wilds are activated by landing 2 Diamondback Scatter symbols. After landing, it splits itself and other symbols on that reel in half. This doubles the number of symbols on that reel and the number of ways to win. xSplit Wilds can only activate on the 3 middle reels.

Look out for the Hog Me Tight Scatter appearing on reel 5. Appearing 2 symbols high, it acts like a wild symbol. When it lands, it cuts symbols to the left in the middle rows:

• Reel 1: Symbol in the middle row is split
• Reels 2-4: Symbols in the 2 middle rows are split

If an xNudge Wild symbol is split, it doubles the xNudge Wild multiplier value.

Quick Draw & Shootout

The Quick Draw feature is triggered by landing 1 revolver cylinder symbol on reel 1. Randomly shooting 3 to 6 times, each shot doubles the symbol multiplier which is hit.

The Shootout feature is activated when 2 Sheriff Badges land on reels 2 and 4. All low-value symbols on the 3 middle reels become wilds.

Redemption Spins

Landing 3 Diamondback Scatters will trigger the Redemption Spins feature. With 5 free spins awarded, the win multiplier is increased by xNudge Wilds (1-4) which remain in play throughout the feature. Any collected win multiplier will be multiplied by another xNudge Wild.

If you land a Hog Me Tight Scatter on reel 5, you will upgrade to the Salvations Spins feature will 1 extra free spin. This will occur 1 in 40 times on average. Landing 3 RIP symbols will retrigger the feature with 5 more free spins awarded.

Salvation Spins

The Salvation Spins feature is played by landing 3 Diamondback Scatters and 1 Hog Me Tight Scatter. 6 free spins are awarded. Like in the previous feature, the win multiplier increases between 1-4 by xNudge Wilds. These remain in play with any collected win multiplier multiplied by another xNudge Wild.

With the Hog Me Tight Scatter landing on reel 5, it acts as a wild symbol and splits all symbols on the middle reel after every free spin. Lastly, 3 RIP symbols will give you another 6 free spins.

Nolimit Booster

As found in other Nolimit City slot games such as Loner, there is an optional Nolimit Booster feature with 2 xBet options.

• xBet: costing 2.5 times your bet, you will sacrifice for a more brutal, less awarding base game bit increase the probability of triggering the free spins. Your chances of playing the free spins doubles with a guaranteed scatter on reel 2. The RTP rate rises to 96.13%.

Following in a long line of Wild West slots, the Deadwood RIP slot combines elements of both Tombstone RIP and Deadwood but in a new and brutal way. Not as gory and controversial as the high-paying Tombstone RIP, it's a middle ground where you won’t find much joy, unfortunately.

Graphically, it’s great but the soundtrack is probably the best I’ve come across. In terms of the gameplay, the xRIP feature means a win less than 1 times your total bet will be removed by Nolimit City. That’s brutal but just the way things go.

xNudge Wilds give you multipliers which are added together in the base game and multiplied in the 2 free spins features. xSplit Wilds see symbols split for more ways to win as well as doubling the xNudge Wild multiplier. I quite like the Quick Draw and Shootout features which double symbol multipliers and transform low-value symbols into wilds.

With the 2 free spins features, the key is to land xNudge Wilds which increases the win multiplier. If you manage to combine this with the Quick Draw and Shootout features, you can really get the win multiplier motoring. In the Salvation Spins feature, the Hog Me Tight Scatter splits all symbols on the middle reel on every free spin too. I love how the pig throws tomahawks onto the reels to split the symbols.
