The chances of a recession in the UK before the end of this year looks more and more likely according to odds by bookmakers this week.
It's now odds on at 8/15 that the UK goes into recession in 2022, shortening from 4/5 at the beginning of August.
Smarkets give odds on the recession and make it 10/11 that it doesn't happen this year.
