Kamala Harris now shortens into second favourite to be next US President ahead of Joe Biden

Reports are increasing around Vice President Kamala Harris stepping up from her role and replacing Joe Biden as the Democrats representative in the upcoming US Presidential Election and betting sites have changed the market around.

The latest betting odds have now put Harris as the 4/1 second favourite behind Donald Trump to win the US Presidential Election with Joe Biden drifted in the odds list to 6/1 third favourite.

Earlier this week, the Telegraph reported that the Democratic Party had launched contingency plans around Harris replacing Biden following a disastrous run so far in the presidential debates.

William Hill's odds now say that there's a better chance of Harris being voted as US President that Biden which suggests that she will be the one to step up and run against Trump at the polls in November.
