Sarah Millican is the 5/4 betting favourite to win Series 14 of Taskmaster

Popular panel game show Taskmaster returns for Series 14 this week and Sarah Millican is the 5/4 bookies favourite to win the show.

The programme sees a group of five celebrities attempt to do a series of random challenges in which Greg Davies and Alex Horne eventually judge them on.

Horne created the show for the Edinburgh Fringe back in 2010 before it was picked up by TV channel Dave, with Channel 4 then acquiring the show.

Taskmaster Series 14 Winner Odds Probability
Sarah Millican 5/4 44.4%
John Kearns 11/4 26.7%
Dara Ó Briain 7/2 22.2%
Fern Brady 5/1 16.7%
Munya Chawawa 5/1 16.7%
Sarah Millican is the early bookies favourite for the new series of Taskmaster, with bookies giving her a 44% chance of winning the show!

John Kearns is just behind Millican in the betting odds

Comedian John Kearns is just behind Millican in terms of favouritism in the betting market for Taskmaster.

The 5 celebrities who appear on each series of taskmaster usually consist of Comedian's but this can change from time to time.

This year's celebrities are:

  • Sarah Millican, comedian, writer and presenter, South Shields.
  • John Kearns, comedian, London.
  • Dara Ó Briain, comedian and presenter, County Wicklow.
  • Fern Brady, comedian and writer, West Lothian.
  • Munya Chawawa, actor and comedian, Derby.

More TV specials available over the upcoming weeks

Autumn brings a whole host of TV betting specials, from Strictly Come Dancing to Great British Bake Off.

The latest series of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! will also be announced in the coming weeks and bookies love to give odds on the show.

Ant and Dec announced the spin-off show I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! All-Stars earlier this week and there are odds for that too.
