Bookies go 1/5 that Labour win the potential By-Election set to take place in Tamworth
By-Election betting has soared in popularity in recent months following a number of by-elections taking place in the UK for numerous reasons back in July and we could yet see more.
Tamworth MP Chris Pincher has had a parliamentary report on groping allegations published which recommended that he should be suspended for eight weeks.
Suspension as an MP automatically triggers a recall petition in which a by-election can be triggered and all that needs to happen is 10% of constituents sign that recall petition.
Bookmakers say that Labour have a 1/5 chance of winning a potential by-election in which they would need a swing of just over 21% to take the Tamworth seat according to the BBC.

By-Election may be triggered following Chris Pincher's suspension recommendation
The By-Election for Tamworth has yet to be confirmed but it is likely to happen following Chris Pincher's eight week suspension after an inquiry said he groped two men in a London club back in 2022.
Commissioner Daniel Greenberg published the findings after a year-long inquiry that say the MP groped two separate men on the same night at the Carlton Club last year.
Pincher has appealed against his eight-week suspension towards the end of July and as of yet we've seen no outcome for this appeal with the eight-week suspension not allowed to start until that appeal has been held.

Betting is also available for the Mid Bedfordshire By-Election which has been due ever since Nadine Dorries said that she would be standing down as a Tory MP with "immediate effect" two months ago.
Since then though she has yet to officially vacate her seat as MP of Mid Bedfordshire and this means that there is still no date for a By-Election to replace her.
Labour MP Sir Chris Bryant is trying to force Dorries out of Parliament and he could succeed in doing so if she was to spend six months without attending Parliament.
