I break betting odds news as it happens, so you’re never left behind when the market moves or a top offer lands.

  • Lewis Cope eliminated, despite being one of the strongest dancers this year.
  • Karen Carney now 4/5 to win Strictly after Amber Davies survives the dance-off.
  • George Clarke remains her closest challenger at 11/10 with the Semi-Final next.

Karen Carney remains odds-on favourite with bookmakers to lift the Strictly Come Dancing 2025 glitterball trophy after this weekend’s shocking elimination saw one of the competition’s strongest dancers head home.

Lewis Cope, widely considered the most technically gifted contestant this season, was eliminated in Sunday night’s dance-off against Amber Davies despite Cope finishing top of the leaderboard on 5 Saturday nights.

Amber’s perfect 40 for her high-energy Charleston proved decisive as she outperformed Cope in the final showdown.

Judges praised her performance in what was described as her best dance of the series.

Ladbrokes now make Carney 4/5 to lift the iconic Glitterball trophy in the final.

Carney now 4/5 to be crowned champion

With just three celebrities left in serious contention, it’s now a two-horse race between Karen Carney and George Clarke, who has spent most of the season near the top of the market.

Clarke continues to impress the judges, but Carney's consistent improvement and now strong public support has her edging ahead.

Carney has shown that underdog mentality throughout the series but strong performances in recent weeks have seen her move above the rest of the pack.

What the expert says...
Karen’s growth from early promise to front-runner has mirrored the ideal Strictly journey. She’s peaking at the right time, and the public clearly love her story.
