I break betting odds news as it happens, so you’re never left behind when the market moves or a top offer lands.

  • George Clarke is now odds-on (4/5) favourite to win Strictly 2025 after Vicky Pattison’s exit.
  • Balvinder Sopal survives another dance-off, her fourth of the series, and is now a longshot at 200/1.
  • Blackpool Week is next, with the remaining contestants preparing for one of the show’s biggest stages.

George Clarke Odds-On Favourite as Vicky Pattison Exits Before Blackpool Week

Strictly Come Dancing 2025 has hit full stride and UK betting sites now have YouTube star George Clarke as the odds-on favourite to lift the Glitterball Trophy as the ballroom heads to Blackpool next weekend.

Sunday night’s results show saw Vicky Pattison become the seventh celebrity to be eliminated, following a tense dance-off against Balvinder Sopal.

Remarkably, it was Balvinder’s fourth survival in a dance-off and the EastEnders actress continues her underdog run into the iconic Blackpool stage.

As eliminations thin the field, punters are eyeing up George Clarke’s massive public support and bet365 have responded by slashing his odds to odds-on for the first time this series.

The current market suggests a 55.6% chance of Clarke being crowned Strictly King this year.

George Clarke Tightens Grip on Glitterball Trophy

From early series favourite to runaway market leader, George Clarke has delivered on the hype so far and the odds now back that up.

With a clean sweep of good judges' scores and consistently strong public support, his momentum heading into Blackpool Week has seen him cut into odds-on territory at 4/5.

Should he continue to impress under the iconic Blackpool Tower Ballroom lights, it’s hard to see anyone catching him, unless a major stumble opens the door.

Lewis Cope Still In Contention, Karen Carney Gaining Support

Lewis Cope remains George Clarke’s nearest market rival at 12/5, with the Emmerdale actor consistently towards the top of the leaderboard.

He has shown growth in recent weeks and is capable of putting in a standout Blackpool performance to challenge the front-runner.

Meanwhile, former footballer Karen Carney is the only other contestant under 10/1, priced at 5/1.

Her athleticism and dedication have been praised by the judges and with a few more breakthrough routines, she could become a genuine contender in the late stages.

Alex Kingston (11/1) and Amber Davies (28/1) are hovering outside the top tier, but will need to produce something special in Blackpool to re-ignite their campaigns.

What the expert says...
George Clarke has gone from online star to ballroom sensation. He may not be the best dancer in the show but he's continued to show progress week-by-week. If anyone is going to challenge him, it might have to happen this weekend in Blackpool.

Balvinder Sopal’s Remarkable Run Continues

Despite facing her fourth dance-off of the series, Balvinder Sopal continues to defy the odds.

The bookies, however, remain sceptical, offering her at 200/1 reflecting the uphill battle she faces.

Her resilience has won fans, and with Blackpool Week typically carrying surprises, she could yet have one more twist in store.

But from a betting standpoint, she remains the rank outsider.
