I break betting odds news as it happens, so you’re never left behind when the market moves or a top offer lands.

  • Ross King is 2/1 favourite to be first eliminated from Strictly 2025.
  • Chris Robshaw and Thomas Skinner follow at 7/2 and 4/1.
  • Lewis Cope heads outright winner market at 11/4 after Dani Dyer’s injury exit.

Strictly 2025 Live Shows Begin

Strictly Come Dancing 2025 kicks off with its first live show this weekend and while there will be no elimination just yet, bookmakers are already looking ahead to who might be the first contestant to exit the competition.

Ross King, the 63-year-old LA Correspondent for shows like Lorraine and This Morning, is seen as the most vulnerable with William Hill pricing him at 2/1 favourite to go first.

Former England rugby star Chris Robshaw (7/2) and businessman-turned-TV personality Thomas Skinner (4/1) are next in the betting.

William Hill's early odds give a 33.3% implied probability that King will be the first to go this series with a slim chance of him staying beyond the first elimination week.

Who Will Win Strictly 2025?

While focus is on eliminations, punters are also keen to get behind the outright winner market.

Lewis Cope, who joined the line-up late as a replacement for Kristian Nairn, leads the way at 11/4 favourite with William Hill.

Vicky Pattison (9/2) has been well-backed since Dani Dyer’s injury withdrawal ruled her out before the live shows began.

Former Olympian turned Gladiator Harry Aikines-Aryeetey (5/1), TV presenter George Clarke (5/1) and model Ellie Goldstein (11/2) make up the top five in the outright market.

Betting Insight

Ross King’s age and lack of dance background likely explain his position as favourite for the first elimination, while ex-athletes Chris Robshaw and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink may face challenges adapting to ballroom and Latin styles.

Meanwhile, Lewis Cope’s soap star popularity and strong early support make him the clear frontrunner in the outright market.

What the expert says...
Ross King looks up against it from the start, but don’t rule out Thomas Skinner struggling with the judges’ critiques. In the outright market, Lewis Cope’s profile and popularity make him a justified favourite.
