Wales and Italy drift out to 500/1 after defeats in first matches

Wales and Italy already headed into the Six Nations as big outsiders to win at 50/1 and 100/1 respectively and their opening weekend defeats have unsurprisingly seen them drift out even further.

Bookies give both sides next-to-no chance of winning the Six Nations this year with both now out to 500/1 in the market, implying a 0.2% chance of either doing so.

Both play each other this weekend in what is already being dubbed as the battle to not win the Wooden Spoon.

This weekend sees England host France at Twickenham in massive fixture

England take on France on Saturday at Twickenham and it's set to be an enthralling fixture with French captain Antoine Dupont looking to guide his team to a massive away victory.

Dupont missed the Six Nations last year to focus on his home Olympics in Paris but he's looking to guide his country to winning the tournament this year.

Last time the two sides met at Twickenham back in the 2023 Six Nations was England's heaviest home defeat in their 152 year history with the French dominating to a 53-10 win.

The odds for this weekend's game sees France as the 1/2 favourites to beat England in what will likely be a lot closer than the 2023 fixture.
