Bookies give specials on S Club 7's year ahead following 25th anniversary reunion
Popular 90s and early 00's band S Club 7 announced their 25th anniversary reunion earlier this month and bookies are already giving betting specials on their year ahead.
S Club have reunited before back in 2015 for an arena tour but this time round sees the potential of the band getting back into the studio to record new music.
With plenty of dates already selling out up and down the country it shows that the love for the band is still high with more dates being added to their arena tour.
Betway give a whole host of betting specials for the band this year including odds of 5/2 that their Miami 7 TV show will be remade by the BBC in 2023.
The band have hinted that they are in the process of getting their hit TV series Miami 7 and LA 7 added to an unnamed streaming platform at some point.
S Club 7 Betting Specials | Odds | Probability |
---|---|---|
Miami 7 to be remade by BBC in 2023 | 5/2 | 28.6% |
To have a UK Number One in 2023 | 7/2 | 22.2% |
To have a UK Christmas Number One in 2023 | 20/1 | 4.8% |
To be UK's Eurovision Entrants in 2024 | 25/1 | 3.8% |
To win a Brit Award in 2024 | 33/1 | 2.9% |
Longest odds given in the betting market are for the group to win a Brit Award in 2024
The biggest priced betting special for S Club 7's reunion sees odds as big as 33/1 for the group to win a Brit Award at the 2024 awards show.
The pop group have won two Brit Awards in the past for British Breakthrough Act in 2000 and British Single of the Year in 2002 for 'Don't Stop Movin'.
Fast forward 22 years later from their last win and they have a 2.9% chance of winning one again next year and they may well get some sort of honorary nomination next year.
Other specials include them to have a Christmas Number One at 20/1
The race for Christmas Number One has become far less of a race in recent years and more of a question of what Lad Baby will release this time around.
S Club could be a competitor for Lad Baby later this year if their popularity grows around Christmas time and they may even join Lad Baby who get celebrities involved.
S Club's song 'Never Had A Dream Come True' had a Christmas feel to it back when it was released in 2001 with the snowy video giving them Number 1 at the end of November that year.
There's just a 4.8% chance that they get Number One this Christmas though with it looking slim in terms of the rest of the betting specials for the band.
