I break betting odds news as it happens, so you’re never left behind when the market moves or a top offer lands.

  • Premier League Darts returns this week with an eight-player elite field.
  • Luke Littler is favourite to lift the title, ahead of defending champion Luke Humphries.
  • Weekly knockout nights and short-format matches promise volatility in the betting.

Premier League Darts Returns on Thursday

UK betting sites are gearing up for one of the most anticipated events on the darts calendar as the PDC Premier League Darts returns for 2026.

With an elite eight-player lineup, a fast-paced weekly format and a lucrative prize fund, the competition is renowned for delivering drama both on the oche and in the betting markets.

The tournament begins on Thursday, 5 February in Newcastle, with weekly fixtures running every Thursday through to Finals Night in London on 28 May.

Reigning champion Luke Humphries returns to defend his title after defeating Luke Littler in last season’s final, but the betting suggests a shift in power at the top.

Despite losing last year’s final, Luke Littler heads into the new campaign as the clear favourite to win the Premier League Darts title.

Priced at 8/11, the teenage sensation is expected to convert his explosive scoring power into sustained success across the league phase.

How the Premier League Darts Format Works

Each Thursday night follows the same high-intensity structure.

All eight players enter at the quarter-final stage, with winners progressing to semi-finals and then a final all in a single evening.

Matches are played over the best of 11 legs (first to six), a short format that leaves little room for error.

The winner of each night pockets a £10,000 bonus, while league points accumulate to determine the final standings.

With a total £1,250,000 prize pot, the rewards are significant:

  • Winner: £350,000
  • Runner-up: £170,000
  • Semi-finalists: £110,000
  • 5th: £95,000
  • 6th: £90,000
  • 7th: £85,000
  • 8th: £80,000

Humphries Looking to Defy the Market Again

Defending champion Luke Humphries is second favourite at 9/2, a price that may catch the eye of bettors who value proven Premier League pedigree.

Humphries showed last season that consistency across the league phase can be just as important as explosive nightly performances.

However, the implied probability of 18.2% suggests bookmakers believe repeating the feat will be significantly tougher this time around, particularly with Littler expected to raise his level further.

Where to Bet on Premier League Darts

Premier League Darts Sponsors BetMGM are offering competitive odds on the outright market and are also running a Bet £10, Get £40 in Free Bets offer for new customers, which may appeal to those looking to get involved early in the competition.

When comparing the best darts betting sites, punters should look for depth of markets, competitive pricing and clear rules on season-long outrights.

Many UK betting sites also allow darts betting using free bets, which can be useful given the volatility of weekly knockout formats.
