Can Xue is the 7/1 favourite to win this year's Nobel Prize For Literature
Betting is already up for this year's Nobel Prize For Literature and it is Chinese writer Can Xue who is the early favourite with bookies at 7/1 to win the award.
Deng Xiaohua, better known by her pen name Can Xue, was one of the favourites for the award back in 2019 and it's the same again four years later.
Paddy Power say there's a 12.5% chance of Xue winning the award just ahead of four other writers who sit on joint odds of 9/1 as second favourites.

Sir Salman Rushdie was the betting favourite to win the 2023 Nobel Prize for Literature back in December with his latest book set to be released this year.
Victory City is expected to be one of the big releases of the year with Salman Rushdie's latest novel officially coming out on February 7th.
Rushdie was given odds of 4/1 to win the award in December but he's now drifted massively in the betting out to 14/1 8th favourite for the award.

The Ukrainian President has been a big leader in his country following Russia's invasion with opinion polls in the country voting him as their greatest ever president.
