Sheffield United boss Paul Heckingbottom remains odds-on to be sacked next

Sheffield United and Paul Heckingbottom's misery continued this past weekend with a 2-0 away defeat to West Ham and bookmakers have kept the Blades boss as the favourite to go down.

Further defensive uncertainties were on display at the London Stadium on Saturday with the Blades showing no signs of getting anything from the game with West Ham on the front foot straight away.

Paul Heckingbottom now has an even tougher task on his hands than he will have thought to keep the Blades in the Premier League after the loss to West Ham was preceded by that 8-0 defeat to Newcastle.

BetVictor have kept Heckingbottom as the betting favourite to be the next Premier League manager to leave after that latest defeat with his odds currently at 4/9 to be sacked next.

Manchester United boss Erik Ten Hag now moves into 10/1

Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag is now third favourite to be the next Premier League manager to be sacked after his side lost once again in the Premier League.

United looked strong midweek at home to Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup and faced the exact same fixture on Saturday with confidence high for a win in the league.

Roy Hodgson had other ideas though and his side put in a great display to get a massive 3 points at Old Trafford and this has seen Erik Ten Hag now move into 10/1 to be the next manager to be sacked.

Ten Hag will be feeling the pressure after that latest defeat saw his side slip down to 10th in the Premier League with 4 losses in their opening 7 games.

Burnley lost away to Newcastle and they continue to struggle defensively under Vincent Kompany with the betting market now looking open over who goes down this season.
