Henry Cavill is second favourite in the market with the former Superman actor also previously being favourite in the betting odds to play Bond.

Award winning director Christopher Nolan would be a massive name to direct the next movie in the Bond franchise but he rubbished those rumours in recent days.
Deadline spoke to Nolan after the Golden Globes asking him if there was any truth in him directing Bond which he insisted was 'pure bollocks'.
Nolan won Best Director of a Motion Picture at the 2024 Golden Globes for Oppenheimer and Bond producers would snatch at the chance to have him as their director.
