Nathan Ake is now 4/11 to join Chelsea this transfer window
Manchester City defender Nathan Ake is now just 4/11 with bookies to join Chelsea, with the Blues reportedly after a new centre back this Summer.
That will be due to the departures of Antonio Rudiger to Real Madrid and Andreas Christensen to Barcelona already this window.
Ake, 27, has been at Chelsea before and had two separate spells in the first team before a permanent move to Bournemouth in 2017 for £20m.
The Dutch centre back spent three years there before moving to Man City for £41m and City are now looking to recuperate that money if they're to sell him to Chelsea.
The Champions know that selling Ake will leave them with a lack of depth in their defence so they'll be looking for defenders themselves this window.
Matthijs de Ligt is another transfer target for the Blues
Matthijs de Ligt is also a centre back that has been linked with Chelsea this Summer, but it looks like he'll cost a lot more than Ake.
Juventus reportedly want around €70m for the centre back and Chelsea may turn their backs on de Ligt due to the price.
Bayern Munich are the current favourites to sign the Juve defender at odds of evens while Chelsea are 2/1.
It looks likely that Matthijs de Ligt will leave Juventus though with the centre back reportedly handing in a transfer request in Turin.
