Callum Turner Leads Next 007 Market As Brosnan Teases Franchise Return
The James Bond rumour mill is spinning once again, with former 007 Pierce Brosnan dropping hints that he could return to the iconic franchise, not necessarily as Bond, but in a supporting role.
Speaking to GQ, the 72-year-old Irish actor, who portrayed Bond across four films from 1995 to 2002, left the door open when asked about the rebooted franchise under Amazon MGM Studios.
"Sometimes you entertain it and sometimes you just move on," Brosnan said, before acknowledging the possibilities of “working within that film” again.
His comments have sparked a wave of renewed interest in the James Bond betting specials, with betting sites keeping markets active on both the Next James Bond and the Main Villain in Bond 26.

Callum Turner Tops The Market For 007 Role
With Daniel Craig officially out of the picture, Callum Turner has emerged as the bookies' 7/4 favourite to take on the tux and Walther PPK.
Best known for roles in Fantastic Beasts, The Capture, and Masters of the Air, Turner ticks the boxes: British, mid-30s, action-capable and just under-the-radar enough to grow into the role.
But Aaron Taylor-Johnson (7/2) remains a close second, having been long-rumoured for the part with alleged screen tests in the bag.
Theo James (9/2), Jonathan Bailey (5/1), and Henry Cavill (6/1) round out the top five all with solid fan campaigns behind them.
Retired Agent Theory Gathers Pace
While Brosnan himself dismissed the idea of reprising Bond as a lead, he didn’t rule out appearing in a mentor-style or legacy character role, perhaps as a retired agent or ex-MI6 operative connected to the new 007.
This isn’t without precedent.
Judi Dench famously bridged the Craig and Brosnan eras as "M" and there’s growing talk among fans of Brosnan’s Bond existing in a multiverse-style reboot.
