Emma Raducanu Betting: Raducanu is 70% NOT winning a Slam in 2022 According to bookies

I've spent over 20 years inside the betting industry. I'll guide you to avoid the hype, ignore the noise, and steer clear of the common pitfalls that catch out everyday punters.

  • Change in coaching staff could be blamed for below par performances since the US Open
  • 2/1 to win any Grand Slam, but that means 70% likely not to
  • 7/1 to win Wimbledon and same price for US Open double
  • Betting sites go 8/1 in Australia and 9/1 in France

Newly-crowned Sports Personality of the Year winner Emma Raducanu took the UK and the Tennis world by storm by appearing from virtually nowhere last season and winning the US Open Tennis title at Flushing Meadows.

To say it was a surprise is an understatement. What has not been surprising has been the media attention, endorsements, and SPOTY award in the UK along with bookmaker predictions for 2022.

Unfortunately, the way the LTA controls its top players, also meant she would have to change the coaching team which can not have had an immediately positive effect on her game and general well-being.

An enforced change of coaching staff for Emma Raducanu may take a couple of seasons to see her get back to top form, so 2/5 odds on not winning a grand slam in 2022 look tempting and the 70% probability conservative.

For this reason, it may take a season or two for Raducanu to find her form once again, and thus her chance of winning any of the four grand slams in 2022 do look slim and the probability of 70% NOT to win one, looks conservative

Wimbledon Would be Incredible

Wimbledon is the big one in the Tennis world and was the first major that Emma Raducanu competed in, although she retired through injury in 2021. It would rank higher in terms of a win for her, in front of a home crowd, so let's take a look at the Wimbledon 2022 betting odds as they stand at the end of 2021 and prior to the Australian Open in January.
