- Taylor Swift now Favourite to get UK Xmas Number 1
- Ladbaby Christmas song release expected Sunday 11th December
- Could Elton John and Ed Sheeran be replaced by Taylor Swift in Ladbaby Xmas #1 number 5?
- Social media couple going for an all record-breaking 5th consecutive number 1
Since the betting on the Christmas number one betting odds market was formed, Ladbaby have occupied the favourite's position on a purely speculative basis with bookmakers. No announcement of an official release to target an all record-breaking 5th consecutive Xmas number 1 has arrived to date.
Until Sunday when we at OLBG expect the announcement that the attempt will be made with details of the song and a last-minute run to outsell everyone else in the betting, and there is a chance Taylor Swift could be involved.
The expectation is heightened with an overnight move (Friday into Saturday) when the odds were slashed from 4/5 to 1/2, meaning the probability has risen from 55% to 66% overnight. In betting terms, a substantial odds movement
Current Xmas Number 1 Betting Odds
The market moves have come on Smarkets exchange predominantly, and their current odds are:

Taylor Swift appears in betting from nowhere
Taylor Swift has not appeared in the betting for Christmas number one at any stage up until Saturday lunchtime when suddenly installed as the favourite on the Smarkets betting market.
The star who has recently broken all records herself having occupied all of the top 10 positions in the US Billboards chart and less favorably been involved in a ticket storm in the US has made no announcement of a single release in the UK, leading to speculation that a collaboration with LadBaby could be on the cards with a surprise announcement on Sunday.
Record 5th Number One Attempt
After breaking the records of the Spice Girls and the Beatles, a 5th Consecutive number one will surely create a record for Xmas number ones never to be broken again, unless Ladbaby do it again in 2023!!
