Favourites Manchester City have been drawn away at Tottenham in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup
The Carabao Cup continued this week with the third round being played and Manchester City ran out 2-1 winners against Championship side Watford to put them through to the fourth round of the competition.
Pep Guardiola's men were given a tough away draw against Tottenham in the next round as reward for their victory and despite that they still remain favourites with UK Betting Sites to win the competition.
Guardiola though basically confirmed that this competition is the lowest of his priorities this season, telling reporters after that Watford win that "The next round, I announce to you now, I play the second team."
βWe are not going to waste energy on this competition, for sure," Pep continued, with the busier schedule seeing just a gap of two days between that Watford win on Tuesday and Sunday's tiring 2-2 draw against Arsenal in the Premier League.
Despite Guardiola confirming that he won't be taking the EFL Cup seriously, Manchester City are still 3/1 favourites with Paddy Power to win the trophy this season.

Arsenal sit behind City in the market following their 5-1 win against Bolton
Arsenal are City's main rivals in the Premier League title race this season and could be the ones that they have to beat to win the EFL Cup too.
Bookmakers have the Gunners as the second favourites in the market to win the EFL Cup this season and they have been handed a favourable draw away at Championship side Preston North End in the next round.
Mikel Arteta will be ecstatic at being drawn against a lower-league side in the next round meaning that he can play a fairly weakened team and still go into the game as favourites.
