A vote of no confidence has been tabled and triggered against PM Boris Johnson as 54 MP has requested it. The vote will be held between 18:00-20:00 British Summer Time, where, is losing Boris Johnson will stand down as Prime Minister of the British isles. Despite the vote of no confidence being triggered, Boris Johnson is the overwhelming 74% favorite to win an not have to stand down, an action that he will have no choice but to undertake should he lose.

It is believed Boris Johnson was notified on Sunday evening that the threshold for the vote to be triggered had been met and would take place today. The vote requires the majority of Tory MP's to partake in the vote meaning at least 180 will have to put their cross on the paper.

Boris Johnson is said to be welcoming the vote and the chance to speak to his party on matters that are well overdue following month and month of speculation.

It is believed BJ will have the support of almost all of his cabinet and so far as betting sites are concerned, they offer a 74% chance that the PM will WIN the vote offering odds of just 1.35

At least 180 Conservative MP's will have to vote for the result to stand, this represents the majority. The vote takes place between 6pm-8pm tonight and the result will known shortly thereafter.
