One of the key states is Michigan with Debbie Stabenow being the senator for the state since 2001 after becoming Michigan's first female US Senator when she won the 2000 election.
It looks likely that she will be replaced by another woman at the upcoming election with Democratic candidate Elissa Slotkin the heavy favourite in the betting market to be voted in.

Former U.S. representative for Michigan's 8th congressional district Mike Rogers is the Republican nominee in the 2024 Senate Election in Michigan after he won the Republican primary with more than 60% of the vote back in August.
More than 870,000 total votes were cast in the Republican primary in Michigan with Rogers having just over 555,555 of them at the polls to put him ahead of Justin Amash as the representative.
The current betting market puts him out at 3/1 to be voted in as Michigan Senator on November 5 with a 25% chance given that he wins according to those odds.
