Never got involved from wide draw last time at Pontefract, drawn out wide again here but less of an issue at this track, won a class 2 on the AW at Lingfield in 2024 off 94, only second career run at this track tonight (midfield in a class 5 earlier this year off 70 ) todays mark off 55 in this class six should be well within his capabilities.

Iain Jardine's horses are running reasonably well, as his 18% strike rate in the last fortnight shows. His Never Dark, who returned from a ten-month break with a sixth-place finish at Ayr two weeks ago, last won at Hamilton two years ago. He is now down to a dangerous mark of 60, which is eighteen lbs lower than he carried that day. Even though he has yet to win over tonight's six furlongs, he likes it here at Wolverhampton, where he has won twice over the minimum trip. I can see him making all here.

Has been a good servant for connections, with the last of his 4 wins coming over 7 furlongs here in November. Finished a solid runner-up here in January , but has been a little disappointing on his last 3 outings. Interesting, now dropped to a trip he has never ran over before.

You wouldn't pick this mare on current form but shes a three-time course and distance winner. She has fallen a long way in the weights and is now seven pounds below her last winning mark. The apprentice jockey who was aboard for her last win returns. Likely to bounce back at some point so worth chancing each-way in an open looking race.

Much better effort last time when a close up third here over this trip. Only a pound higher than the last winning mark at Chelmsford. Has won here in the past. Jockey has had five winners in the last two weeks.
