Yokstone was racing off the high 60s 12 months ago but has built up a string of poor runs. When winning last time he was off a mark of 47. That was his first win in three years. It was on Polytrack and in a classified stakes, so overall he looks a bit short for this Tapeta handicap. Instant Bond won over 6f two back and was third in inexperienced hands last time. In this race he has the most experienced jockey.

As often happens in these amateur riders' races, the Simon Walker mount is overbet. This second favorite looks the value, with a jockey booked who is making waves in this sphere with his incredible strike rate. He is also able to claim 3 lb, and his horse has a 4/18 strike rate on the AW compared with the favourite's 1/17. The horse is only a 5??'yo and races here off 54. His four wins thus far have been off 57, 54, 54 and 58.

Yorkstone won last time out at Newcastle and finished second prior to that. He is in stall 3 for this one, so a good stall position in my opinion. He is a horse in form, hitting the frame in his last two runs. I do see value in the each-way, as he is capable of being in the frame.

This 8-year-old is a C&D winner who recently ended a prolonged losing streak earlier this month and followed up with a third place in a similar race last week. Well treated on handicap form, so appears a reliable each-way option at decent odds.

ELDEYAAR returns here from a rock-bottom mark and with plenty of course form in the back catalogue. He could be able to get involved. Looks well drawn, so should be in touch with the leaders in the early stages and can hopefully stick around. Sparingly used claimer in the saddle, but it's not enough to dissuade an each-way bet.

Two runs this year for the lightly raced 4yo after joining this yard during Nov. He tired at the finish in both those races, but his fitness should be better now. He ran three nice races in defeat last May??'June, with good RPR ratings, and he has ability. His mark is around 15 lb lower now. Capable jockey in the saddle for this amateur riders' handicap.

Chiedozie is a big price at 40/1, but on some old form he could have a chance here off this lowly mark. He will likely come on for his last run, which was after a 410-day break, and Lewis Kent can claim 3 lb in this. He has a decent draw in stall 4, and I think 6f suits him best.

Is a huge outsider here, so will need to find top form. If it does, it can upset the odds and place here.
