Bomb Squad is a hard worker and has been good recently, with a 2nd then a win here at CD. However, the wins-to-runs ratio isn't great for this 8-year-old and a struggle is likely with this rating of 63 (only won by a neck off 61, the highest rating he's had) last time. Daytona Lady is a couple of years younger and has a better overall strike rate on AW tracks (1 in 5 wins and 1 in 3 in the frame). Has only had three runs so far in '26 and has been placed twice and won one. Has won off a mark in the 70s in the past, so this mid-60s mark looks a good fit for this.

Iconic Times drops dramatically in grade here and runs for the first time in a 0-65. This is the horse's third run for Jenny Candlish, and she drops him down to six furlongs on the Southwell galloping track. Our nap on Thursday.

Won over course and distance in January off the same mark as today. Struggled a bit last time out in a higher grade but returned to a C6. With a decent claimer taking off five pounds, he could be in the mix.

Tommy McJohn was a juvenile winner in Ireland, landing a nursery on his fourth start after three good runs in maidens. After that win his handicap mark was 84, so no surprise he struggled to build on that victory. Now down to a mark of 55 and should be sharper for a recent stable debut, he ought to go close tonight.

Forever Noah won a race over 5f at Wolverhampton on his latest outing last month. Upped in trip to 6f, the surface should suit. He seems well treated and could well be able to win this race.

I think a mark of 58 is winnable on the balance of form, as I would rate him anywhere between 60 and 70, with possible improvement to come. May have needed the run LTO, but a decent 3rd in December shows the win possibilities off this mark. Can get amongst the four places.

He's a proven course-and-distance winner. He is drawn well in stall 1 and lines up in a competitive but ordinary Class 6 race. If he gets a smooth run on the inside, he could get close under Joey Haynes.
