He was never really travelling then, so needs to bounce back if he’s to capitalise on a falling mark.

Raby Mere is better than his latest run says and can do much better. He’s a dual 2m4f hurdle winner (Fakenham and Uttoxeter) on decent ground and has been generally consistent. This season’s profile includes a solid 2nd at Huntingdon and earlier placed efforts off higher marks, so a current rating of 94 doesn’t look beyond him here.
