  Crescent Moon looked in much better condition last time out after returning from a month's break after a few sub-par performances. Ended up in 5th last time, but that was over a significantly longer distance than we have here, so should be all the better for having that run in the legs. Trainer Gavin Cromwell has had his runners in good shape lately, with 8 wins in the last couple of weeks for a 14% win rate.

  Mister Frostie does have 1 win and a 3rd-place finish from 3 outings in point-to-point races, which shows the calibre is there. But it hasn't quite clicked yet since making the switch to new trainer C A McBratney in March. Pulled up most recently at Kilbeggan, but that being less than a week ago actually gives me reason for encouragement, as they clearly feel he is ready to go rather than any lingering concerns. 50/1 on a place here looks generous with 3 on offer, and to me the 3rd place looks wide open. I wouldn't completely rule out the win equity here either, with the market leaders far from sure things, as shown by said market not being able to split the leading 3 candidates.
