He is currently trading off a dramatically reduced handicap mark that vastly underestimates his peak class capabilities. His recent placed effort signalled a distinct revival, and the anticipated steady early tempo here should allow him to travel comfortably within himself before utilising his superior underlying speed metrics in the closing stages. He is dangerously well-treated if building on that recent promise, making double-figure odds an absolute gift.

Eye Contact is a more interesting one than his latest run suggests, and there's a bit of upside back over hurdles, I think. He has been inconsistent in both codes, but his best hurdles effort came from here. He's clearly effective around 2m2f on this ground, and that also suits this setup. He returns with a tongue strap and cheekpieces on, and that combination has often helped sharpen him up. Sullivan's 5 lb claim is also useful from a very low weight already.

Won twice here in August. Hat trick opportunity here despite nearly a year off. Should have at least an each way chance
