Saint Of The Sea is the only colt in the line-up and has a nice pedigree by St Mark's Basilica. He made a very pleasing seasonal reappearance over the course and distance last month and looks likely to build on that in the hands of leading course trainer Mick Appleby. Floating Market from the Balding yard also has a fitness edge and receives a filly's weight allowance.

Flash Kozo has a good chance for this, and the market may be underestimating him a touch. He was green and too slow away in the Curragh auction race, but his debut over 7f showed me some ability. The step up to 1m on the AW looks a sensible move for a horse by Kameko out of a Dubawi mare. He’s still lightly raced, and if he is ridden from off the pace, a closing effort for a place is very much on the cards here.
