BRIXSON tops my ratings here, and I see no reason to desert him with the excellent Gavin Sheehan onboard. My selection was given too much to do when 3rd over two miles at Wetherby last time, looking for all the world like he needed a step up in trip. He gets that here.

A few with chances here, but the one I like is ANARIZA with Jack Andrews taking off a handy 3 lbs. Too keen and probably found the trip too far when pulled up in a Grade 1 Novice Hurdle at Cheltenham when last seen in April. My selection was evidently thought good enough to compete in such esteemed ranks, and drops massively in class today. Had previously shown ability in two races at this trip and in this grade, so looks one to keep onside.
