Yermanthere ran and won against stronger opposition than either Ephron or Shimmering Sands last time out, however this is an Amateur event which can sometimes throw some surprises, what surprises me is that Yermanthere is only the third favourite, The Pontefract Hill often finds the top weights out and Yermanthere is not a big horse to Carry 11st 2lb but he brave and determined, he is the best in this field but because of the weight, size of horse and the Pontefract Hill I recommend Each-Way at this Great Value price.

It`s thirteen runs since Princess Niyla`s last win but the mare ran well here three weeks ago, weakening in the final 1/2 furlong. Is well rated on TS and RPR.

With wind operations, we are still looking for a 7-week or 10-week break and with STAR START, that is what we see. Not low mileage but the 6-y-o has won more than his share on turf over the seasons. I do take the point that all his wins have been in Class 6 races but plenty of other things look right. A previous winner here at Pontefract, this is his trip and fast ground suits well. The form of the yard could be better but at the price and with three places assured on the exchange, the selection looks worthy of a bet.

WRIST ART isn't easy to win with but there's bits and pieces of form here from around this mark and the trip seems to suit. He wouldn't need to improve much to at least be in the reckoning for this one. Claimer on board retains the ride and she's guided him to third on the last two mounts, so he's one to consider.
