In particular, the close-up second at Market Rasen on Boxing Day, given reopposing fifth Hawkseye View’s (7/2 here) prominence in the market. Halfway House Lad saves his best efforts for this track. After winning this race last year and winning his next race off of today's mark, he is placed back in a race that gives him a big chance if he bounces back to form as expected. His last few starts have kept him fit and well, and the 7yo is still each-way value at 11/1 or bigger. He was backed at 20/1 earlier Friday evening.
