Solid debut run from the 2yo colt three weeks ago. beaten by just a short-head in a novice stakes contest, splitting two useful and race fit rivals. It sets him up nicely for a shot at this £135K sales race. He's the least exposed runner in the race and you could expect him to improve plenty rom that debut run. His rating gives him every chance and because of the conditions of the race and his purachase price, he does recive quite a lot of weight from most of these rivals.

An almost impossible task to pick the winner in this huge field for the Super Sprint with three standing out at the weights. Bint Archange, Vollering and my selection on paper should all run well. I've sided with the Clive Cox runner who has had 70 days off since winning nicely at Leicester and will for sure have come on for that and been aimed at this since. The yard target these races rather successfully and can do so again on Saturday.

With Tom Marquand booked this horse catches the eye. Knew her job when winning on debut at Redcar in April. She tben struggled in group company but ran well in its last 2 races in listed company in France. Can go well again and be in the mix.

Tipping anything in this race always seems a bit mad, given there are 25 two-year-olds in the field. Kodi Bear Light came up against a decent one on debut at Musselburgh but showed enough to suggest she could be quite smart. She duly went to Thirsk and won nicely. She did disappoint in the Hilary Needler at Beverley last time, but possibly three quick runs were a bit much for her. She's had about 50 days since that last run, and she might have strengthened up a little in the intervening time. Karl Burke doesn't usually overface his horses, so he must think she can run a good race.

Ran OK over C/D on debut until veering over to the far rail and showing greenness late. Better finish at Leicester, and the Kempton run can be forgotten. This race was pencilled in even before the debut here. Gelded since the last run, with cheek pieces added in. Race stable win.

This horse won well last time out in a decent size field at Yarmouth. Carries a nice low weight and can reward each way support in this race.

The 2-year-old has the potential to surprise each-way at 25/1, as the races distinctive weight system works in his favour, giving the 88 rated colt a significant edge over his opponents.
