Won over course and distance back in February. Ran a really good race last time out when returning to turf. Back on all-weather again now and must be respected.

Hit a purple patch since returning from an 81-day break in February to finish 3rd at Chelmsford and then recently win at Southwell. Keeps headgear that seems to support the improvement and still seems on a workable mark.

Finished a good 2nd of 11 last time out on turf (good going) at Newmarket, staying on but not reaching the winner over 1m with a rating of 61. Interestingly switched to the AW today with his rating having risen a manageable two points to 63, making his seasonal debut after a break of 181 days. Fair each-way bet at 8/1, hopefully paying 4 places.

4th-last outing but raced since, which was October. If it can come back in similar fashion, a place shot is worth a small stake.

Ashley Lewis claims 5 lb aboard Jim and Suzi Best-trained My Boy Harry. Tried in a Class 2 on his last outing, so this is a major drop back in grade. Second off this mark when last here over seven furlongs in January. Four wins from 31 starts at 7f and 1m. On his last winning mark. Chance.

He stands out as a leading contender to secure a top position due to his impressive performance in 2026, having clinched victory in two races at this track earlier this year. This consistent 8-year-old boasts several career wins and has recently achieved a commendable 4th place over this C&D.

I feel the 4yo was better than his 4-length defeat six weeks ago. He travelled nicely and was still challenging inside the final furlong but eased late on. It was just his fifth career run and he can still progress. He's 9 lb better off now with an apprentice in the saddle claiming 5 lb, and this handicap is not as strong.

Dalmally has enough going for him to me despite a below-par run last time. He was only 4l behind, and he has already won at this trip. He’s the kind who can improve back in a lower grade and a slightly easier race after a short break. Greatrex is onboard, and if he settles a touch better than last time, he’s not out of this at all.
