Decent 2nd at Chepstow for a new, respectable yard and then won at Exeter afterward in the first week of November. Up five pounds here, but still looks very competitive.

A decent career, but took a dip after winning at Wetherby at the beginning of 2024 and hasn't run well since until very recently. Returned to the track after a long 311-day break to win at Aintree, which is not an easy track to race on. Back up four pounds, but a big threat here if he is continuing where he left off and is back to his best.

Returned to the track after a 253-day break to win here in a field of eleven back in mid-November. Last wins prior were both at the end of 2023 at Ascot and here again at a much higher mark. Hit with a five-pound rise, but that won't be an issue if back to form.

Beaten here a week ago by rival 'JM Jhingree', but has a better weight advantage this time. Was making debut for a new yard last time. Previous two runs were both runner-up finishes at Southwell. Has won on this ground three times in the past, once from a higher mark.

Twice on the bounce back in March 2023, Sir Benedict hit bad traffic at Wolves and then at Newcastle to finish outside the places. Similar story last time out here at the beginning of the month, but he still managed to pinch 2nd off a mark ten pounds lower and at a horrible wide draw. Up just a pound this time and he gets a better draw to go and win this.
