Four career runs for the 3yo, form 0224. He has bumped into some very strong winners. He raced in a class 2 turf contest last time out on his handicap debut now running in a class 4. He ran fine at this track last Dec. Trained at the good Andrew Balding yard and you could expect some more improvement after his recent two month break.He does receive a 12lb age allowance from 11 of his 12 rivals.

Maxident is a tough, consistent front-runner effective over 1m6f to 2m2f who acts on soft ground and all-weather surfaces. Having finished a credible second at Goodwood on a short break, his reliable form suggests he can make this race a test and challenge for the win.

He is a multi talented winner over both course and distance, currently in outstanding form. Fresh from a strong 2nd place finish at Sandown, he is poised to be a formidable contender in this staying handicap, placing him solidly in the running at 14/1.

BARENBOIM bounced back from a poor patch last time out, when narrowly beaten over this trip and in this grade from the same mark. Just in case that wasn't the exception to the rule, he's given another look as he could well match that last time out showing. Has some decent from here at Kempton so has a chance of getting involved again.

​Kerry Lee's five-year-old gelding makes plenty of appeal as he returns to his preferred synthetic surface at Kempton. Kingdom Of Stars boasts an outstanding record over this track and distance, having already visited the winner's enclosure here off a similar handicap mark. While his recent efforts over hurdles and on turf were mixed, he returned to form with a solid fourth over nearly two miles at Chester in Class 4 company. Reverting to Kempton's artificial track-where his smooth, lengthening stride is best suited-provides a massive boost to his chances. With Charles Bishop taking the ride, he is handicapped to be competitive off a mark of 74 and looks primed to deliver a big performance in a race that plays entirely to his strengths.
