Eternal Force has been improving with every start, winning both his last two. He was second in a maiden at Hamilton in June before winning his 5th career start at Redcar in August. He then won on handicap debut at Newbury last month. He is up 5 lbs here but can progress further and has a great chance of following up.

Won on debut at Wolves before a close fourth and a 3rd place finish, latest here at Newcastle back in June after a 69-day break. Has rested again since, but also had a wind operation and is expected to get closer this time around.

Talis Evolvere looks a fair price given he seems quite well handicapped. It feels like he is in good form given his last run at Kempton. He could be described as a bit of an unlucky loser that evening as he was given a fair bit to do and finished really strongly.

He had a good run last time out, making all over the mile when increasing the pace, but hung badly in the final furlong, which likely cost the win. Dropping down to the mile seems like it may suit as he has been running over further. If reproducing his last run, he can snatch it.

Zryan is in stall 3 and runs off 83, which looks fair based on his latest near miss. He ran 3rd 26 days ago and now returns proven at a mile and versatile on all surfaces. O'Meara has a strong record with similar types, and Billy Loughnane rides from a good draw. He should track the leaders and finish strongly here. Solid win chance with the ideal pace.

Course and distance winner. Now 1 lb below last winning mark. Very versatile on the ground. Good low draw in 1, so can get an early position. Pj McDonald has a 50% strike rate when riding for his trainer, so another positive.

The horse has raced far too keenly in his 2 starts since switching stables, but the new stable's last 2 runners have won and been beaten a nose. The jockey has been placed all 3 times the stable has booked him. The key for me is the first-time tongue tie. Progeny of Sea The Stars often improve massively when it's fitted. In fact, their strike rate with no headgear is 17%, and it increases to 27% with a tongue tie, with a massive placed strike rate of over 50%. This alone wouldn't necessarily be enough to give the horse a chance here, but he showed stacks of ability when 2nd on debut, where the winner is useful and the third has since won off 104. He's still only 6 races into his career and races here off just 78, so he is surely worth a little bet in the hope that the tongue tie is the key to him showing that level of form once more.
