Won over a mile on his racecourse debut on the AW but showed improved form on his return when losing out in a photo finish at Newmarket over 10f back in April. Occupied the same finishing position at Carlisle over 9f on his next start and goes up in trip here for his handicap debut and there could be more to come.

MDAWI was a near miss on day one, and it's interesting that connections keep the run here. Shouldn't be far away from matching the strength of the last run.

Jim rides this track well. He only lives down the road and is a master of these sorts of races. He can get Munsif over the line on ground it will love. So come on, Jim boy!

Surprise defeat last time when odds on in a handicap. Just seemed to get outpaced in a small field over 1m 2f on good to firm ground. The extra furlong on softer ground should suit well, whilst the form has worked out okay from that race. Clearly, more was expected, so every reason to think he is well handicapped off 84.

Give me another front runner who could nick the race from the front. Good price for each way and 4 places. Should keep running for a place at a minimum here.

Taking this to finish strong in the last and get up for a nice ending. Has the stamina, enjoys the ground, and will be finishing strongly.

This trip is going to catch many out in this ground, but Sea of Kings has been shaping as though he'll appreciate this extra test of stamina. That also ties in with the fact that he's a full brother to Sea of Class, which won the Irish Oaks and was 2nd in the Arc. Clearly, if he's anywhere near as good as that, he will win this off a mark of 83 with a strong jockey booking and a first-time tongue tie. The 7/1 in the early market looks way too generous.

Best effort last time out when second at Sandown over ten furlongs. Upped to eleven furlongs this afternoon, and hopefully, that will bring more improvement.

Has a pretty consistent record as a three year old and was a close up 5th over 14f at Haydock on his latest start and races off the same mark here over a slightly shorter trip. Definite player.

Won here on Reappearance and followed up with a good run on soft ground at Epsom. Needs to bounce back from disappointment at Royal Ascot.

Here's another horse that looks value. The ground is another imponderable, but if he handles it, the form he showed at Ascot should be good enough to see him in the shake up here.

Blinkers are immediately applied after he threw away all chance last time by hanging badly left, even more so than his previous race where he got away with it. Superbly bred and is worth an each-way bet here in the hope that the blinkers help him concentrate.
