Won 2 of 4 races in France and was 4th on UK debut for new connections at York. Moves back up in trip here and is my NAP today.

The 5-year-old is having his first flat run for this yard after joining them early last year. He has proved to be very useful over hurdles for them and is probably a lot stronger now since his last flat run. The 2m trip on soft ground will suit him. Strong jockey booking, and he has a decent flat handicap mark today.

Maxident has won two races at 1m 4f and 1m 6f. He was a winner on his latest outing over 1m 6f at Ffos Las in September last year. Upped in trip to 2m should suit. Seems well treated and could well be able to go in again and win this race.

The ability to handle the ground will be paramount today, and this mare showed she can do that with a win in the heavy. The yard are going okay, and the jockey had a winner yesterday. She has never won off a mark this high, so an each-way bet is the sensible option. She's consistent.

Won at Thirsk on its first race of the season. Ran poorly last time but clearly capable of more, and I can see the odds shortening for this one.

Raced as if something was amiss when last of 17 in the Chester Plate over further last time out. Won over this trip at Newbury in the race prior to that and possibilities to bounce back.
