Jedd O'Keeffe doesn't have many runners at the big summer festivals, however when he does, they generally perform with credit. Dan Tucker is definitely improving at a rate of knots, and was deeply impressive when winning at Pontefract recently. If he was from a bigger, more fashionable yard, he would be a shorter price than he is.

Ruby's Profit can still represent value despite being the favorite for this wide-open handicap. The current stable has been in excellent form with 3 winners from the last 8 runners. Course winners have performed well so far at this festival, and Ruby's Profit has that under its belt.

The 3yo filly has been consistent and progressive in her four runs this year. She was an unlucky runner-up in a useful seven runner class 2 handicap four weeks ago, finding herself at the back entering the final furlong, but she switched to the outside and finished very fast. More to come from this one and she shouldn’t have the same traffic problems at this track.

Had just got to the front and was running well in a Class 2, 5 furlong sprint at Sandown last time out when he jumped a path cutting across the track. Got unbalanced by that and finished 3rd. Not sure he was winning the race but equally not sure a 2 length defeat was a fair reflection of ability. The Sandown winner Kassaya is stepping up to Listed class and Getreadytorumble is dropping a grade here off the same mark and should be competitive.

Third of ten here in May. This is a step up in class but comes here in form with a win and 2nd placed finish in the last two starts. Continues to run off a decent mark. Each way chance in an open race.

Marty Hopkirk looks primed to strike. Narrowly denied last time in a hot sprint, he's drawn well, has Oisin Murphy booked, and handles undulations. He has the pace to sit handy and finish strong. Trainer in cracking form. Looks the most solid win option in a wide-open race.

Wheels Of Fire's only win came on the all weather at Lingfield but he was placed 3rd on both his visits to Goodwood over 6f last year and 5f this season. He has dropped to his lowest mark of 78 and is drawn well in stall 12 to go close from towards the bottom of the handicap.

Was very unlucky not to take a hot class 2 handicap over 5f on the Aw @ Southwell Lto, when badly hampered and denied a clear run. However, has equally effective turf form @ this level, is a C/D winner, good jockey booked and in hands of a shrewd upcoming trainer, making current 14/1 very good Ew value in the race.

Dyonisos has only moved over to Britain in the last week but was in good form in France with three wins and a 2nd from four outings since March. Changed hands for €97,000 so must be well thought of. Won at Dieppe in June running to an RPR of 92. Most of his races are over 6f, so hopefully the drop in trip will mean he has something left over at the business end of the race. Hi, Lord is a 16/1 shot with upside. Joe Fanning knows how to ride this track, and the horse stays on strongly late. He’s unexposed at the trip and could thrive off a strong pace. If things fall right, he’s more than capable of snatching a win, not just a place.

Great drawer, might be able to grab the rail and boost his performance. A low-weighted Mayson gelding, and the rain is going to help him here.
