Has won last two races and is up slightly in trip here today, which i see no problem with. Any ease in the going will also be fine with this horse and has looked an improved horse this year.

Last year’s winner Haunted Dream was unlucky last time out at Royal Ascot. He was travelling well on the far side rail when badly hampered, forcing his jockey to ease him down despite apparently having plenty left in the tank. He had a solid winter campaign in Dubai, running a career-best when finishing fourth at Group 2 level. It appears he’s been kept fresh for this race after Ascot, which looks a more realistic target given the weights and official ratings. With James Doyle back aboard, and provided he gets a clear passage, Haunted Dream should be competitive at this level again.

This one only won once for Michael Stoute, which came over 10f, but joined this stable on his retirement. He won 2 of his first 3 races for this stable over 9f on debut and 10f last time, but they were split by a lesser run at Ascot when not drawn well. The first of the wins were for this team, and although 5lb higher than his last win, he drops to the same trip as their win in the same grade, so with the NAP to make it 3 for 4 for the stable.

3.75 lengths behind the re-opposing winner, Liberty Lane, over a furlong further here in a Listed race on penultimate start with both horses racing off the same weight. Cash carries 5 pounds less today and could be better suited to the drop in trip after finishing last of 6 over a mile and a quarter in another Listed race at Sandown last time out when sent off second favourite.

I thought i remembered getting some decent place money for this one in a race this year, but came 3rd lto in a 6 runner race, but maybe there was extra places. Either way, it's being over-looked here again after finishing only 1.5l behind winner Winlord lto and i suppose that could be because the going might go against it, as prefers a fimer surface, but am willing to give it another go ew.
