Danielle and the winner came a fair way clear in the Lillie Langtry at Goodwood, and a repeat of that run should be enough to see her home in front this time.

With only four races under her belt, CONSENT is far less exposed than most of these in this race. She was a winner over a mile at Thirsk on debut. She was narrowly beaten on her second start before staying on well to win over 1m2f in July of this year. She stepped up further in trip to 1m4½f in a Group 3 at Deauville last time. She went off the 11/4f that day but failed to get a clear run. She did well to finish second and hit the line very strongly, suggesting a further step up in trip today will only further enhance her chances. This Group 2 will demand more from her, but she looks very progressive and will likely be a big danger.

Elana Osario has won three from five this season and over different distances from 1m3 to 1m6. Unlucky not to make it four in the middle after a rough race. Style of run is to be held back and fight at the end and has shown grit doing that. Looks decent EW value at least.

Santorini Star showed she stayed further by winning a two-mile handicap last time. Going up into Group 2 company should not be beyond her scope, and she will be staying on at the finish over fourteen and a half furlongs.

Floresta, an Irish horse that was impressive last time at Leopardstown in a listed race, winning well, could step up here to go close at a big price.

Secret Of Love was bred to be a stayer, and although she has not progressed as well as they expected, the step up to 14+ furlongs will help her cause. Andrew Balding has had a great season so far with his 3-year-olds, and I'm hopeful this one can finally get her act together.

Has the pedigree to be involved and RPR's are competitive. Can get amongst the 4 places on offer, even if it seems unlikely after over a year out. Will no doubt be fit being from the Gosden stable, the excellent William Buick rides and won't have any issues with the trip on GS.

This looks a fairly open Park Hill, 3/1 the field, and I’m going to take a small punt that this French import isn’t thrown in for no reason by O’Meara. She does hold a Group 1 entry like a few of these, so either they are trying to get her mark down so she can compete in a handicap (which is perhaps more likely) or she’s shown enough to be considered for that event. Indeed, she has done enough so far to suggest it’s possible, chasing home Illinois and Trafalgar Square in the Prix Chaudenay last October. One run since when 6th of 8 in Listed company is poor on the face of it, but she was behind some smart types with ratings between 105-116. She may struggle to give the weight away to the 3-year-olds, but she intrigues enough for me in a race where I struggled to put a pin in anything else.
