Based on some fairly recent runs, the 9yo AMATHUS, has shown plenty of potential and is now two pounds lower than when placing at Bath in May. Disappointing since then, but you never quite now at this level. He's well drawn and has a good speed, would could reap rewards here. Should get the pace of Bobby Dassler to aim at so the profile of the race is potentially set up for a closer.
